1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of Swimlane, operated by Swimlane. By creating an account you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind it.

2. The service

Swimlane is a customer relationship platform for LinkedIn-led prospecting. It syncs your LinkedIn contacts and conversations, scores how well each contact fits the customer profile you describe, organises them into pipelines, and runs the outreach sequences you configure.

We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice and, where a paid plan is materially affected, a pro-rata refund.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for everything done under your account.
  • One account is for one person. Team plans give each member their own login; sharing a single login is not permitted.
  • Tell us promptly at hello@getswimlane.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Swimlane to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or content that is unlawful, deceptive, harassing or hateful.
  • Process personal data you have no lawful basis to process.
  • Circumvent the safety limits in the product, or attempt to raise them beyond what the interface allows.
  • Reverse-engineer, resell, or copy the service, or use it to build a competing product.
  • Probe, scan or overload our infrastructure, or access another customer’s data.

We may suspend an account that breaches this section, and will tell you why.

5. LinkedIn

Swimlane is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation. Your use of LinkedIn remains governed by LinkedIn’s own terms, and you are responsible for complying with them. Swimlane paces its actions conservatively — inside the hours you set, with randomised spacing and daily ceilings you control — precisely to reduce the risk to your account, but we cannot guarantee that LinkedIn will not restrict or suspend it. You accept that risk when you connect your account.

6. Plans, payment and cancellation

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, through Stripe.
  • Prices are shown excluding VAT, which is added where applicable.
  • You can upgrade or downgrade at any time; changes are prorated.
  • You can cancel at any time from your settings. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund partial periods except where the law requires it.
  • If a payment fails we will retry, then notify you, then downgrade the account to the free plan. Your data is not deleted.

7. Your data

Your content stays yours. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process and display it so the service can work. You can export your contacts and conversations at any time. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it down for maintenance, with notice where the work is planned.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost business opportunities. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate for a material breach of these terms, or if we stop offering the service, with reasonable notice and a refund of any unused prepaid period. On termination your data is deleted per the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you by email; continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law, and the courts of Brussels have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory protection you enjoy as a consumer in your country of residence.
