This policy explains which cookies and other trackers Berenger.dev SRL uses on getswimlane.com and in the Swimlane application (app.getswimlane.com). By “trackers”, we mean cookies, but also the browser’s local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB) and scripts that read or send information from your device.
1. Your choices
- Nothing optional is loaded before you choose. On your first visit, a banner lets you reject all, accept all or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the website remains usable whatever your choice.
- Your choice applies to the website and the application, which share the same consent cookie on getswimlane.com.
- It is kept for 6 months, after which we ask you again.
- You can change it at any time: via the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page of the website, or the “Legal” block on the Account Management page of the settings in the application. If you withdraw your consent to audience measurement, we delete the corresponding cookies and storage data and then reload the page.
2. Trackers used without consent
They are essential for the service you request to work or, for referrals, to attribute your sign-up to the organization that referred Swimlane to you. They stay on getswimlane.com and are never passed to any third party.

3. Audience measurement — with your consent

- Tool: PostHog, European hosting (see Sub-processors). The data goes through f.getswimlane.com, an address on our domain.
- Masked session recordings: in the application, all text, input fields, attributes and images are masked, so that none of your contacts’ data appears in a recording; on the website, input fields are masked.
- Link to your account: in the application, these statistics are linked to your account (identifier, name, email address, Organization) in order to understand how the product is used.
- Retention period at PostHog: events 1 year (7 years on a paid plan), session recordings 30 days.
4. Convenience features — with your consent

- Recognition of your account on the website: if you are logged in to the application, the website loads an invisible page from app.getswimlane.com that reads your session and displays your first name and photo in the header. No new tracker is created.
- Automatically loaded support chat: in the application, the support chat (Heedback, our own tool) loads on every page, creates the heedback:… keys described above and may offer you help based on your browsing. Without this consent, it loads only when you click “Help” or “Contact support”.
5. Content from third parties
Without any tracker being set by us, certain features display content hosted by third parties, which then receive your browser’s IP address:
- the LinkedIn profile photos of your contacts, loaded from LinkedIn’s servers;
- the base maps of the contacts map (CARTO), only on that page;
- GIF images, when you open the GIF picker (Klipy);
- IP address geolocation services, when you log in to the application.
These services are described on the Sub-processors page. We do not use any advertising cookies or social media buttons, and our fonts are hosted on our servers.
6. Pages without any optional tracker
The pages opened by the people our customers write to, in particular the tracked links contained in messages, load no statistics tool, no support chat and no banner.
7. Your browser settings
You can also delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary trackers may prevent you from logging in to the application.
